''Paradise in Me'' is the second studio album by Belgian band K's Choice. It was released in 1995 by Double T Music. In the United States, it was released on 20 August 1996 by 550 Music. The album reached #121 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 chart. Six singles were released from the album: "A Sound that Only You Can Hear," "Mr. Freeze," "Not an Addict," "Wait," "Dad," and "Iron Flower." K's Choice
K's Choice is a Belgian rock band from Antwerp, formed in the mid-1990s. The band's core members are brothers Sam Bettens (lead vocals, guitar) and Gert Bettens (guitar, keyboard, vocals). They are joined by Bart Van Lierde (bass), Tom Lodewyckx (lead guitar), Reinout Swinnen (keys) and Wim Van Der Westen (drums). The band has produced gold and platinum albums. Band history In the early 1990s, Sam and Gert played in an amateur band, The Basement Plugs. This led to the discovery of Sam, who was offered a chance by a label; mainly because of his smoky, enigmatic voice. Gert Bettens
Gert Bettens is the lead guitarist of the Belgian band K's Choice. He, with his brother Sam Bettens, is the face of the band. The band is popular in Europe and had toured in the U.S. with The Verve Pipe, Tonic, Alanis Morissette and the Indigo Girls, as well as on their own. In 2003 K's Choice decided to split ways, but then reformed in 2009. Bettens was born in Merksem. After more than a decade of composing, recording and touring all around the world with one of the most successful Belgian bands, in addition to many side projects as a songwriter, guitarist and producer, Gert is making his comeback in the music scene with his first solo project. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Tony Platt is an English sound engineer and record producer, best known for his work with a diverse mix of artists, including, AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Bob Marley, Iron Maiden, Shy, Buddy Guy, Foreigner, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sparks, Jazz Jamaica All Stars, Lillian Axe, The Boomtown Rats, Motörhead and Testament. Career Platt's career started at Trident Studios in London and eventually became an engineer at Island Studios. David Robert Haas (born 1957 in Bridgeport, Michigan) is an American author and composer of contemporary Catholic liturgical music. In 2020, dozens of women accused him of sexual misconduct spanning several decades, and he issued a public apology for harmful behavior. Education and career Haas graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1975. He studied vocal music performance at Central Michigan University from 1975–1977. From 1977–1978, Haas served in parish and school communities in the Diocese of Saginaw. Hopscotch is a popular playground game in which players toss a small object, called a lagger, into numbered triangles or a pattern of rectangles outlined on the ground and then hop or jump through the spaces and retrieve the object. Sam Bettens (born in 1972) is a Belgian musician and the lead singer of the Belgian band K's Choice. In May 2019, he came out as a transgender man. Career K's Choice In the mid-1990s, Bettens formed the band K's Choice with his brother Gert. They are the two best-known faces of the band.
