Panzer (Chilean Band)
Panzer is a Chilean heavy metal band formed in 1987. History Panzer debuted in 1987 after its contributions to the compilation ''Infierno Rock''. In 1988, the band was elected by peers and journalists as the best Chilean rock group, a title it held for two consecutive years. This coincided with the release of their first album ''Metal Land'' in 1988, followed by its 1989 Latin American re-release in an attempt to establish the band in other Spanish-speaking markets. In 1989, Panzer appeared in ''Latinos y Metálicos'', a compilation of heavy metal from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Spain. The official launch for the album was at the Stadium of Buenos Aires Waterworks. Lyrics reflecting widespread youth issues and the band's classic cut of heavy metal became the trademark of Panzer. Arica ( ; ) is a Communes of Chile, commune and a port city with a population of 222,619 in the Arica Province of northern Chile's Arica y Parinacota Region. Barón Rojo
Barón Rojo (') is a Spanish heavy metal band from Madrid that achieved international success in the 1980s. The band is led by siblings Carlos and Armando de Castro, previously from the band Coz, and is considered one of the most important representatives of Spanish hard rock. Barón Rojo in Spanish means "red baron", the name of the band being an homage to Manfred von Richthofen; the 1981 eponymous song "Barón Rojo" is about him. Slayer
Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya. Slayer's fast and aggressive musical style made them one of the "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. Quinta Vergara is a park located in Viña del Mar, Chile. The park features three major landmarks: the Palacio Vergara, the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater and a garden. Every year the park is home to the Viña del Mar International Song Festival. Punta Arenas (; historically Sandy Point in English) is the capital city of Chile's southernmost region, Magallanes and Antarctica Chilena.
