Pantai Indah Kapuk
Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) ( zh, 潘泰因达卡普克) is a gated community, located in parts of Penjaringan, North Jakarta and Kapuk, West Jakarta, Indonesia. It is one of most prestigious residential areas in Jakarta along with Menteng, Pondok Indah, and Puri Indah. PIK is often the most sought residential area for wealthy Chinese Indonesians, featuring large mansions in exclusive gated clusters. The area never floods, despite being in close proximity with flood-prone districts. Although most of Pantai Indah Kapuk is housing estates, there are businesses on the main roads such as Pantai Indah Utara, Pantai Indah Selatan, and Marina Indah. The Cordoba and Crown Golf shophouses on the Marina Indah Road are famous for restaurants and cafes. PIK is one of Jakarta's nightlife districts. Penjaringan
Penjaringan is a subdistrict of North Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the westernmost subdistrict of North Jakarta. Muara Angke port and the mouth of Sunda Kelapa Port are located within Penjaringan. Penjaringan contains the remnants of the original mangrove forest of Jakarta, some of which is protected by the Muara Angke Wildlife Sanctuary. Penjaringan Subdistrict is crisscrossed with water draining channels, canals, and water reservoirs to protect the land from sea flooding. The Cengkareng Drain, part of Jakarta's flood control system, flows to the sea through this subdistrict. Tan Tiang Po, Luitenant der Chinezen (1846 – 1912), also spelled Tan Tjeng Po, was a colonial Chinese-Indonesian bureaucrat, landowner, philanthropist and the penultimate ''Landheer'' (landlord) of the domain ('' particuliere land'') of Batoe-Tjepper in the Dutch East Indies. Wiyogo Atmodarminto (22 November 1922 – 19 October 2012) or better known as Bang Wi, is an Indonesian military figure, diplomat and politician. He served as Governor of Jakarta, the country's capital, from 1987–1992. Previously, he served as the Indonesian Ambassador to Japan and occupied several important army posts. Hasjrul Harahap (November 18, 1931 – February 7, 2014) was an Indonesian politician and government official. Harahap served as the Minister of Forestry from 1988 to 1993 under former President Suharto. Harahap was born on November 18, 1931. He was raised in Sipirok, North Sumatra.
