Pano Angelov
Pano Angelov Apostolov ( bg, Пано Ангелов Апостолов), known also as Karabadzhakov ( bg, Карабаджаков), was a Bulgarian revolutionary, a worker of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization (IMARO). Life Pano Angelov was born in 1879 in the village of Bashklise, in the Ottoman Empire. Pano Angelov Apostolov comes Karite family, who were emigrants from the region of Chirpan and founders of Bashkyoy (Bashklise). His grandfather Angel was a famous wrestler. His son Apostol, who was a member of the revolutionary band of Angel voyvoda, died near Soflu. After the liberation of Bulgaria, Pano Angelov and his family moved to the village of Brod, Haskovo region. After he finished the elementary school in Brod, he studied in the Pedagogic school in Kazanlak. Protokklisi
Protokklisi ( el, Πρωτοκκλήσι meaning the first church, bg, Башклисе) is a village and a community in the central part of the Evros regional unit in Greece. Protoklissi is in the municipal unit of Orfeas. In 2001 its population was 260 for the village and 790 for the community, including the village Agriani. Protokklisi is located about 15 km northwest of Soufli, in the valley of a right tributary of the river Evros. Population History The name of the village during the Ottoman rule was Bashklise (Başkilise in Turkish, Башклисе ''Bašklise'' in Bulgarian). In 1830, it had 100 Bulgarian families, in 1878 and 1912 the village had 105 Bulgarian families. According to professor Lyubomir Miletich, the 1912 population contained 100 Bulgarian families.
