Pandora-Gilboa High School
Pandora-Gilboa High School is a state technology prototype public high school centered in Pandora, Ohio. It is the only high school and school in the Pandora-Gilboa Local School district. The district serves students from Pandora, Gilboa, and parts of Riley, Blanchard, and Pleasant townships in Putnam County. In 2015, Pandora-Gilboa was recognized on the list of the top 50 schools in the country at preparing students of any income level for higher education from anywhere to a technical school to the best of the Ivy Leagues such as Harvard University. Technology Pandora-Gilboa is a technology prototype high school. The former technology coordinator was the State of Ohio High School President of Technology. Technology used by students throughout the building includes SMART Boards, Microsoft Surface tablets, desktop computers and personal Chromebooks. Pandora is a village in Putnam County, Ohio, United States, located on the Riley Creek. The population was 1,153 at the 2010 census. History Pandora was originally called Columbia, and under the latter name was laid out in 1837. Another early variant name was Pendleton. A post office was established as Pendleton in 1837, and the name was changed to Pandora in 1883. Pandora was incorporated as a village in 1892. Blanchard Valley Conference
The Blanchard Valley Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association affiliated athletic league located in Hancock, Putnam, and Wood Counties in northwest Ohio. Its name derives from the Blanchard River, which runs through the area in which the schools are located. Findlay, which is part of the Northern Lakes League, and Cory-Rawson, which is a part of the Northwest Central Conference, are the only high schools in Hancock County that are a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association that aren't part of the BVC. Silver or metallic gray is a color tone resembling gray that is a representation of the color of polished silver. The visual sensation usually associated with the metal silver is its metallic shine.
