Panayiotis Zachariou
Panagiotis Zachariou ( el, Παναγιώτης Ζαχαρίου; born 26 February 1996) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays as a winger for AEL Limassol and the Cyprus national team. He has previously played for Pafos, Olympiakos Nicosia and Omonia. International career Zachariou made his international debut for Cyprus on 16 November 2018, starting in the 2018–19 UEFA Nations League C match against Bulgaria. He opened the scoring for Cyprus in the 24th minute, before being substituted out in the 67th minute for Onisiforos Roushias. The match finished as a 1–1 home draw. Paphos
Paphos ( el, Πάφος ; tr, Baf) is a coastal city in southwest Cyprus and the capital of Paphos District. In classical antiquity, two locations were called Paphos: Old Paphos, today known as Kouklia, and New Paphos. 2017–18 Cypriot First Division
The 2017–18 Cypriot First Division was the 79th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. The season began on 19 August 2017 and is ended on 13 May 2018. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) Anagennisi Deryneia and AEZ Zakakiou were relegated at the end of the first-phase of the 2016–17 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. They were joined by Karmiotissa, who finished at the bottom of the second-phase relegation group. The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship.
