Panagiotis Katsouris
Panagiotis Katsouris ( el, Παναγιώτης Κατσούρης, born 28 October 1976 in Athens) was a Greek football player. He played for Naoussa F.C. and PAOK FC until his sudden death on 9 February 1998 in a car accident outside Thessaloniki. He was 21 years old. Career Katsouris began his professional career in Naoussa where he transferred from Academy Platonas Athens at age 17, making his debut in the First Division in 1993, with Naoussa being relegated that season. After two seasons in the Second Division he transferred to PAOK in the summer of 1996, along with major players such as Theodoros Zagorakis, Paris Zouboulis, Alexis Alexiou, Giorgos Toursounidis and Zisis Vryzas. Katsouris made his debut that season in a match against OFI in the Greek League and scored his first goal in a 1–0 victory over Athinaikos. Toumba Stadium
Toumba Stadium ( el, Στάδιο Τούμπας) is a football stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is property of AC PAOK. The official name of the stadium is simply PAOK Stadium ( el, Στάδιο ΠΑΟΚ), but through the years it has become synonymous with the borough it is built at, the borough of Toumba. History The construction started in 1958 and completed in 1959. Patrons on the project were the Ministry of Culture and Sport (Greece) which offered the amount of 1,100,000 drachmas, while the Hellenic National Defence General Staff owned the space and contributed decisively to expropriate it for the stadium. The then defense minister Georgios Themelis vouched for the expropriation of the area of Toumba Stadium during the Konstantinos Karamanlis government in 1958. Five-a-side Football
Five-a-side football is a version of minifootball, in which each team fields five players (four outfield players and a goalkeeper). Other differences from football include a smaller pitch, smaller goals, and a reduced game duration. Matches are played indoors, or outdoors on artificial grass pitches that may be enclosed within a barrier or "cage" to prevent the ball from leaving the playing area and keep the game constantly flowing. Rules The penalty area is significantly different from football: it is semi-circular in shape, only the goalkeeper is allowed to touch the ball within it, and they may or may not be allowed out. Goalkeepers are only allowed to give the ball out to another player through hands. The goalkeeper may only kick the ball to effect a save. There are no offside rules. Headers are allowed.
