Pan Sorasak
Pan Sorasak ( km, ប៉ាន សូរស័ក្តិ; born 30 October 1955) was Minister of Commerce of the Royal Government of Cambodia from 2016 to 2023. He was re-appointed to this position in September 2018 for the 6th legislature, having served in the same position during the 5th legislature when he was appointed in April 2016. Career Since 2008, he was Secretary of State (Vice Minister) at the Ministry of Commerce, and he was responsible for the Strategic Trade Policy and International Trade Cooperation. He also led a task force among others, on the ratification of Cambodia’s Trade Facilitation Agreement for the WTO’s Bali Package (2013-2016). Under his leadership, the Ministry of Commerce has pushed for the finalization of many draft laws and various amendments including consumer protection, food safety, competition, secured transaction and trade remedy. Excellency
Excellency is an honorific style given to certain high-level officers of a sovereign state, officials of an international organization, or members of an aristocracy. Once entitled to the title "Excellency", the holder usually retains the right to that courtesy throughout their lifetime, although in some cases the title is attached to a particular office, and is held only for the duration of that office. Sun Chanthol
Sun Chanthol ( km, ស៊ុន ចាន់ថុល; born 30 June 1956) is a Cambodian politician and the current Minister for Public Works and Transport, a post he previously held from 2004 to 2008. He was formerly Minister for Commerce from 2013 to 2016. Previously he was the Senior Minister and Vice Chairman of Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). He was elected to represent Kandal Province in the National Assembly of Cambodia in 2003. Sun Chanthol was the Minister of Public Works and Transport from 2004 to 2008, and again from 2016. Hun Sen (; km, ហ៊ុន សែន, ; born 5 August 1952) is a Cambodian politician and former military commander who has served as the prime minister of Cambodia since 1985. He is the longest-serving head of government of Cambodia, and one of the longest-serving leaders in the world. The Cambodian People's Party (CPP), UNGEGN: , ALA-LC: ; is a Cambodian political party which has ruled Cambodia since 1979. Royal Government Of Cambodia
The politics of Cambodia are defined within the framework of a constitutional monarchy, in which the king serves as the head of state, and the prime minister is the head of government. The collapse of communism set in motion events that led to the withdrawal of the Vietnamese armed forces, which had established their presence in the country since the fall of the Khmer Rouge. The 1993 constitution, which is currently in force, was promulgated as a result of the 1991 Paris Peace Agreements, followed by elections organized under the aegis of the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia.
