Pama, Austria
Pama (; hu, Lajtakörtvélyes, hr, Bijelo Selo) is a town in the district of Neusiedl am See in the Austrian state of Burgenland. Geography Pama borders on Kittsee in the north, Gattendorf and Zurndorf in the south, Deutsch Jahrndorf in the southeast, Lower Austria in the west and Slovakia in the east. The non-populated area is used for agriculture. There are barely any woods. History After the Ottoman wars, the strongly decimated population was supplemented by the influx of Croatian-speaking population. The Burgenland Croats have shrunk noticeably in recent decades, but are still very active in community life. The majority of church services are held mainly in Croatian. The town belonged to Hungary (German-Western Hungary) until the foundation of Burgenland in 1920/21. The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is a museum, art gallery, and archives for the Regional Municipality of Peel and are located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Previously, it was the Peel Heritage Complex. Its facilities were originally the Peel County Courthouse, Brampton Jail (also known as the Peel County Gaol), a land registry office, and a county administration building. It is opposite Gage Park and Brampton City Hall. In March 2010, the Peel Heritage Complex closed for extensive renovations and expansion. The spaces reopened in 2012, with significantly larger and include more public space. It was originally scheduled to reopen in fall 2011. Cornelis Pama (1916 - 1994) was a Dutch bookseller, publisher, heraldist and genealogist, who spent the second half of his life in South Africa. He was born in Rotterdam. During World War II, when the Netherlands were under German occupation, he was conscripted for forced labour in Germany.Laing, R.A. (2000). Pama Fou (born 6 September 1990) is a professional rugby union player. His usual position is as a Utility back and he currently plays for italian team Petrarca Padova in Top10. He represented Australia in Sevens Rugby. Born in Auckland, New Zealand and playing for Souths at a senior level, he debuted for Australia in October 2011. As of December 2015, he currently has 25 caps.
