Pallo-Kerho 37, also known as PK-37, is a Finnish football club from the city of Iisalmi. The club was founded on 10 October 1937 as a bandy and football club, but later on it also became known for its pesäpallo and ice hockey sections. Nowadays PK-37 concentrates only on football. The club's men's team play at the third highest level of Finnish football, in the Kakkonen. The Club chairman is Mikko Aminoff and the team is managed by Marko 'Pessi' Pesonen. The previous coach was Atik Ismail who has now moved to Jämsänkosken Ilves. Background PK-37 have played 8 seasons in the Ykkönen (First Division) or its predecessor the Suomensarja (Finland League), the second tier of Finnish football, in the periods 1964, 1971, 1986 and 1989–93. Atik Ismail (born 5 January 1957) is a Finnish former footballer. He played 26 matches in the Finland national football team scoring 7 goals. Ismail was the top scorer of Finnish premier division Mestaruussarja in 1978, 1979 and 1982. In 1978, he was nominated as the Finnish Footballer of the Year. Nelonen (soccer League)
Nelonen or IV divisioona is the fifth level in the Finnish football league system and comprises 159 teams. The IV divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Nelonen (''Number Four'' in English and ''Fyran'' in Swedish). Competition There are 159 clubs in the Nelonen, divided in 14 groups of 9 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club normally plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. Jämsänkosken Ilves (abbreviated JIlves) is a sports club from Jämsänkoski, Finland. The club is active in cross-country skiing, swimming, athletics, and football, where it has a long tradition. The club's home ground is at the Jämsänkosken Pallokenttä. Other venues used by the club include the Oinaalan urheilukenttä (Oinaala sports field), Paunu and Jaatilan kenttä at Jämsä. Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen.
