Pallavan Superfast Express
Pallavan Superfast Express is an Intercity Express (Indian Railways), Intercity express typed Superfast Express trains in India, superfast service operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. This service connects the cities of Chennai to Karaikudi via Tiruchirappalli in the Indian States and territories of India, state of Tamil Nadu. The rakes of this train was upgraded to brand new modern LHB rakes from 30 June 2019. Pallavan Express is fondly called as "PRINCE OF CHORD LINE" and both Vaigai Express and Pallavan Express are fondly known as "CHORD LINE BROTHERS". History The Pallavan Superfast Express was introduced to run parallel to the Vaigai Express, Vaigai Superfast Express, which could not complete the round trip between Madurai and Chennai. Superfast Express Trains In India
Express trains are express rail services of India. Express trains make a small number of stops, unlike ordinary passenger or local trains. Ariyalur () is a town and district headquarters of Ariyalur district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu and is rich in limestone, surrounded with seven cement factories and two sugar factories.
