Pandino ( Cremasco: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about east of Milan and about northwest of Cremona. Pandino borders the following municipalities: Agnadello, Dovera, Monte Cremasco, Palazzo Pignano, Rivolta d'Adda, Spino d'Adda. In the Middle Ages, a pieve (, ; la, plebe, link=no; plural ''pievi'') was a rural church with a baptistery, upon which other churches without baptisteries depended. The Italian word ''pieve'' is descended from Latin ''plebs'' which, after the expansion of Christianity in Italy, was applied to the community of baptized people.
