Paksi SE
Paksi FC (''Paks'') () is a Hungary, Hungarian association football, football club based in Paks. Since its founding in 1952, it has played at either a county or national level. In 2006, it ascended to ''Borsodi Liga'', or NB I, the top division in Hungarian football, for the first time. It plays its home games at Fehérvári úti Stadion. The team colors are green and white. In the 2010-11 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, 2010–11 Hungarian Division, the team finished second and qualified for the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League, Europa League 2011–12 season. History Early years Football first came to Paks in August 1912 with a team composed entirely of students. Soon thereafter the ''Paksi Atlétikai Sport Club'' was formed which played locally. Fehérvári úti Stadion
Fehérvári úti Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Paks, Hungary. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Paksi FC. The stadium is able to hold 5,000 people. History On 21 January 2016, it was revealed that a new stadium will be built in Paks. The new stadium will be finished by the start of the 2016–17 Nmezeti bajnokság I season. János Süli, mayor of Paks, said that the reconstruction will start in May 2016 when the 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság I season finished. The Hungarian state provided 800 million HUF, while the local government 600 million HUF for the reconstruction. Four new covered stands were built in 2018 and the capacity was increased to around 5,000 spectators. The reconstruction ended in 2020 and the first official match was played between Paks and Újpest FC on the first match day of the 2020-21 Nemzeti Bajnokság I season on 15 August 2020. Dániel Böde
Dániel Böde (born 24 October 1986) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Paksi FC as a forward. Club career Paks Böde was born in Szekszárd, Tolna County and started to play for the local neighbouring club Paksi SE. On 16 September 2006, Böde played his first Hungarian League match against Diósgyőri VTK which was won by his club by 2–1. In 2011 Böde played a major role in Paks's international success in the 2011–12 Europa League season. Böde played his first international match in Andorra where Paks beat UE Santa Coloma 1–0. The only goal of the match came in the 14th minute when Gábor Vayer scored. At home Paks debuted with a four-goal win in Videoton FC's stadium, the Sóstói Stadion. Unió Esportiva Santa Coloma, also known as UE Santa Coloma, is a football club from Andorra based in the village of Santa Coloma, Andorra la Vella. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió.
