Pakka Inti Ammayi
''Pakka Inti Ammayi'' is a 1953 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by C. Pullayya. The film featured Anjali Devi as the beautiful neighbour girl. Famous comedian Relangi acted as her lover Subbarayudu and veteran South Indian singer A. M. Rajah as his friend. It was produced by East Indian Company. It is a remake of the Bengali film ''Pasher Bari'' (1952), itself based on the namesake short story by Arun Chowdhury. The film was remade in Telugu with the same name in 1981 by K. Vasu. Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature. He is also known for his works in Telugu cinema as a lyricist, dialogue writer, and story writer. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1987. Early life Aarudra was born in Yelamanchili, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India on 31 August 1925. Aarudra is the nephew of Telugu poet Sri Sri. ''Pakkinti Ammayi'' is a 1981 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by K. Vasu and produced by A. Sarathi. It is a remake of the 1953 Telugu film of the same name which in itself was a remake of the Bengali-language film ''Pasher Bari'' (1952) based on the namesake short story by Arun Chowdhury. Anjali Devi (; 24 August 1927 – 13 January 2014) was an Indian actress, model and producer in Telugu and Tamil films. She was well known for her role as the Devi Sita in ''Lava Kusa'' as well as for the titular roles in movies like Chenchu Lakshmi, '' Suvarna Sundari'' and '' Anarkali''.
