Pakistan Cup
The Pakistan Cup is the national domestic List A cricket competition in Pakistan. Played originally as the Pentangular One Day Cup in 2008–09, 2009–10 and 2014–15, the competition was renamed as the Pakistan Cup in 2016 when it also adopted a draft to select squads for the five provincial teams. Following a national restructuring of domestic cricket by the Pakistan Cricket Board in 2019, the tournament has been contested by the six regional teams, although the first edition under the new structure, in 2019–20, was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to 2019–20, the premier List A domestic competition in Pakistan was the National One-Day Cup which was contested by associations or departments, or a combination of the two. Abbottabad Cricket Stadium
The Abbottabad Cricket Stadium is a cricket ground located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was established in 2003 by the Pakistan Cricket Board, and in 2010, it was declared as a first-class ground. It has hosted first-class and List A games for both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket team and Federally Administered Tribal Areas, as well as training camps for the Pakistan national team. In September 2019, the Pakistan Cricket Board named it as one of the venues to host matches in the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Arbab Niaz Stadium
Arbab Niaz Stadium ( ur, ارباب نیاز سٹیڈیم), formerly known as Shahi Bagh Stadium ( ur, شاہی باغ سٹیڈیم), is a cricket stadium in Peshawar, Pakistan and home ground of Peshawar Zalmi. It is owned by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cricket Association (KPCA). Overview and history The construction of the stadium was completed by November 1984 and was known as Shahi Bagh Stadium. It is the home ground for Peshawar Zalmi. In 1985 it replaced the Peshawar Club Ground which was the home ground for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket team since 1938. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cricket Team
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket tournaments, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. 2020–21 Pakistan Cup
The 2020–21 Pakistan Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in Karachi, Pakistan from 8 January to 31 January 2021. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions after they beat Baluchistan. However, after the new domestic structure announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six newly formed regional teams were formed. In December 2020, it was announced that Aaron Summers would play in the tournament, becoming the first Australian cricketer to play in a domestic cricket competition in Pakistan, after signing with Southern Punjab cricket team. Following the conclusion of the group stage, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern and Central Punjab had all qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament. Gaddafi Stadium ( ur, , translit=Qaẕẕāfī Isṭeḍiyam), previously known as Lahore Stadium is a cricket stadium in Lahore, Pakistan and the home ground of Lahore Qalandars. It is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). With a capacity of 27,000, it is the fourth largest cricket stadium of Pakistan. 2016 Pakistan Cup
The 2016 Pakistan Cup was a five-team limited overs (one-day) cricket tournament that took place in Faisalabad, Punjab, from 19 April to 1 May 2016. It was contested by teams representing Pakistan's four provinces and the capital. Squads for the tournament were selected based on a draft system. Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan, Azhar Ali and Misbah-Ul-Haq led the sides from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the tournament after defeating Punjab in the final by 151 runs.
