Pak Thae-dok
Pak Thae-dok (, born 1955) is a North Korean politician, he held the position of the Vice Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) with a general affairs portfolio till 2020. Pak is also an alternate member of the Politburo of the WPK, a full member of the Central Committee of the WPK, and a deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA). Career Pak Thae-dok was born in 1955. Pak has held various "instructor and guidance cadre positions". He was appointed secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) city committee of Anju, South Pyongan in 2006. His term began in January of the following year. At the 2010 3rd Conference of the WPK, Pak became a member of the Central Committee of the WPK. He was also appointed chief secretary of the WPK provincial committee of North Hwanghae Province. South Pyongan Province
South Pyongan Province (Phyŏngannamdo; ) is a province of North Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the southern half of the former Pyongan Province, remained a province of Korea until 1945, then became a province of North Korea. Its capital is Pyongsong. Geography The province is bordered by North Pyongan and Chagang Provinces to the north, South Hamgyong and Kangwon Provinces to the east and southeast and North Hwanghae Province and Pyongyang to the south. Pyongyang (, , ) is the capital and largest city of North Korea, where it is known as the "Capital of the Revolution". Pyongyang is located on the Taedong River about upstream from its mouth on the Yellow Sea. According to the 2008 population census, it has a population of 3,255,288. Ri Man-gon (born 1945) is North Korean politician who served as Director of the Organization and Guidance Department and Vice Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea from 2019 to 2020. He was formerly a member of the Politburo of the Workers' Party of Korea and director of munitions and military. He was a "supervisor of the department for the nuclear and missile development". 7th Central Committee Of The Workers' Party Of Korea
The 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was elected by the 7th Congress on 9 May 2016, and remained in session until the election of the 8th Central Committee on 10 January 2021. In between party congresses and specially convened conferences the Central Committee is the highest decision-making institution in the WPK and North Korea. The Central Committee is not a permanent institution and delegates day-to-day work to elected bodies, such as the Presidium, the Politburo, the Executive Policy Bureau, the Central Military Commission and the Control Commission in the case of the 7th Central Committee. It convenes meetings, known as "Plenary Session of the ermCentral Committee", to discuss major policies.
