Pacific Office Automation 147
The Pacific Office Automation 147 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that is held at the Portland International Raceway road course in Portland, Oregon. This race replaced the B&L Transport 170, the series' race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It the only standalone race on the Xfinity Series schedule and is held on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series race at Gateway and the Truck Series race at Gateway. An ARCA Menards Series West race will be held at the track on the same weekend as this race. A NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race was previously held at this track in 1999 and 2000. The Xfinity Series race at Portland will mark the first time since then that a NASCAR national series has had a race in the Pacific Northwest. The NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) is a stock car racing series organized by NASCAR. It is promoted as NASCAR's second-tier circuit to the organization's top level Cup Series. Jayski's Silly Season Site is a web site focusing primarily on NASCAR news and rumors. The website was founded by Jay "Jayski" Adamczyk in 1996 after he had difficulty finding news regarding the Melling Racing team, and subsequently worked to get all NASCAR news grouped together on the site. The site was purchased from Adamczyk by ESPN in 2007; after ESPN shut the site down in January 2019, Adamczyk reacquired the rights to Jayski-related properties in April 2019 and rolled out a limited version of the new website with a full launch occurring on May 13, 2019. The DoorDash 250 was an annual NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Sonoma Raceway. The race was previously held during the first four years of the Truck Series (from 1995 to 1998), but was dropped for 1999 as the series' second road course date moved to Portland International Raceway. At the time, the track was known as Sears Point International Raceway and the race was held in October as a standalone race from the Cup Series schedule. The Alsco Uniforms 300 is an annual 300-mile (482.803 km) NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina during Memorial Day weekend as a support race for the Coca-Cola 600. The race's origins trace back to 1978, when a it was a NASCAR Late Model Sportsman Series race was held the day before the World 600. In 1982 it became a Busch Series race. The race celebrated its 40th running in 2018, and is considered one of the more popular races on the Xfinity Series schedule.
