''Pacha Velicham'' () is a 1985 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed and produced by M. Mani. The film stars Shankar, Madhu, Sukumari, Adoor Bhasi and Sankaradi. The film has musical score by Shyam. Synopsis Mukundan, a railway office clerk, gets transferred to a remote railway station in Madras. One night while leaving from the station, he happens to meet Nandini, his father's sister's daughter, walking towards her house. She told that she got down from the train which had just halted there and is heading towards her house. As it was quite dark, she borrows his torch and asks him to get it back from her house the next day. Quite shocked and speechless, Mukundan lends out his torch. Raveendran Nair, known by his stage name Poojappura Ravi is an Indian actor, primarily concentrating in Malayalam films doing comedy roles. He was a stage actor and was a part of ''Kalanilyam Drama Vision'', the famous drama institution. He started doing Malayalam films in mid-1970s. Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Early life Sankaradi passed intermediate from Maharajas College, Ernakulam. Before entering films, Sankaradi briefly dabbled in politics, journalism and theatre. Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu (24 December 1936 – 25 February 2000), was a popular Indian stage and film actor. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts.
