Pablo Runyan
Pablo Runyan Kelting (1925 – February 14, 2002) was a Panamanian surrealist painter who lived and worked in Madrid from 1951 until his death in 2002. Biography Runyan was son of a famous doctor and a mother specialized in the cultivation of bonsais, an art he continued in Spain creating an important collection. Born and raised in Panama, he moved 1943 to New York, where he met writer Anaïs Nin, who became his protector. She helped him to get into the famous Art Academy Max Ernst. Runyan was a friend of Andre Breton, Peggy Guggenheim, Max Ernst, Ava Gardner or Leonard Bernstein. He lived in Paris and London, and moved to Madrid 1951, where he resumed painting. He also worked in cinema and theatre with personalities such as Luís Buñuel or Carlos Saura. Francisco Rabal Valera (8 March 1926 – 29 August 2001), better known as Paco Rabal, was a Spanish actor, director, and screenwriter born in Águilas, a town in the south-western part of the province of Murcia, Spain. The Fundación Juan March is a foundation established in 1955 by Juan March, who was Spain's richest man. The foundation produces exhibitions as well as concert and lecture series. Its headquarters in Madrid houses a library devoted to contemporary Spanish music and theater. It owns and operates the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español, in Cuenca, and the Museu Fundación Juan March, in Palma. Antonio Saura Atarés (September 22, 1930 – July 22, 1998) was a Spanish artist and writer, one of the major post-war painters to emerge in Spain in the fifties whose work has marked several generations of artists and whose critical voice is often remembered. Biography He began painting and writing in 1947 in Madrid while suffering from tuberculosis, having already been confined to his bed for five years. In his beginnings he created numerous drawings and paintings with a dreamlike surrealist character that most often represented imaginary landscapes, employing a flat smooth treatment that offers a rich palette of colors. Jaume Plensa i Suñé (; born 23 August 1955) is a Spanish visual artist, sculptor, designer and engraver. He is a versatile artist who has also created opera sets, video projections and acoustic installations. He worked with renowned Catalan theatrical group La Fura dels Baus. Daniel Garbade
Daniel Garbade (born 1957) is a Swiss painter, illustrator, art director, property master, and publisher. Born in Switzerland from Swiss-Cuban origins, Garbade is the grand-nephew of Adrien Lachenal, great-grandchild of Cuban sculptor Fernando Heydrich, grandson of Theodore Garbade and cousin of sculptor Juan Esnard Heydrich. Garbade lived in Spain from 1983–2011, then taking residence in his hometown Zurich, to work with Peyer Fine Art. In 2016 he returned to Spain, living in Mascaraque, Castile- La Mancha.
