Pablo Bastianini
Pablo Bastianini (born 9 November 1982 in Zárate, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine footballer who plays for the Coras de Tepic in the Ascenso MX. Besides Argentina, he has played in England, Greece, Venezuela, Israel, Japan, and Mexico. Club career He started his footballing career in the youth divisions of Argentinos Juniors and Club Atlético Independiente. His professional debut was with Defensores de Belgrano in 2002 against Club Almagro in the Primera B Nacional, a game which finished 1-1. in 2003 he joined Quilmes where he played in the Copa Sudamericana 2004 and Copa Libertadores 2005. In 2005, he moved to England to join Football League One team Yeovil Town on a two-year contract. In 2006 he moved to the Greek Super League with Ionikos FC of Athens. The 2008 Copa Libertadores de América was the 49th edition of the Copa Libertadores, CONMEBOL's premier annual international club tournament. This marked the first year the competition was sponsored by Spanish bank Santander. As such, the competition is officially the 2008 Copa Santander Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons. The draw took place on December 19, 2007 in Asunción. Ecuadorian club LDU Quito won the competition for the first time in a final decided on penalties. Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. Club Almagro is an Argentine sports club from José Ingenieros, Buenos Aires, although its headquarters are in the Almagro district. The football team currently plays in the Primera Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system.
