The Provincial Assembly of Sindh ( ur, ) is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Sindh, and is located in Karachi, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 168 seats, with 130 general seats, 29 seats reserved for women and 9 seats reserved for non-Muslims. There was previously a Sind Legislative Assembly in the Sind Province of British India and in the early years of the state of Pakistan. Ratodero Tehsil
Ratodero Tehsil ( sd, رتوديرو ) is a Tehsil of Larkana District in the Sindh province of Pakistan, it is located some 28 km from the district capital Larkana. Before the independence, the city has a special reputation for its ''sweet products''. The most special is known as ''Mawa'' and handmade caps known as ''Sindhi topi'' and footwear. At present the principal trade of the town is that of paddy and rice, and there are many rice mills. History In 710 AD, Muhammad bin Qasim conquered the Sindh and Balochistan. Naudero
Naudero, also spelled Naundero, Nodero ( sd, نئون ديرو, ur, نوڈیرو) is a town and union council of Ratodero Taluka in the Larkana District, Sindh, Pakistan. The union council also includes the village of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. It lies to the northwest of the district capital Larkana, connected by road. Irrigated by canals, the area is noted for its rice production. A sugar mill has been constructed in the area, funded by the Chinese. Larkana District (Sindhi language, Sindhi: ضلعو لاڙڪاڻو; ur, ) is a district of Sindh province of Pakistan. Its main city is Larkana on the banks of the Indus River. 2024 Sindh Provincial Election
Provincial elections were held in Sindh on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, after the approval of the results of the 2023 digital census by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, elections have been delayed for several months, as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023. On 2 November 2023, the Election Commission of Pakistan announced, in agreement with the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, that the elections should be held on 8 February 2024. This election was held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections. Faryal Talpur (; born 26 April 1958) is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to May 2018. Early life Talpur was born on 28 April 1958 in Nawabshah, Pakistan to Hakim Ali Zardari and Bilquis Sultana. She belongs to Baloch family from Nawabshah, Sindh.
