PNP Lady Patrollers
The Philippine National Police Lady Patrollers is the name of the official women's volleyball team of the Philippine National Police that competes in the Shakey's V-League. The team is composed of policewomen and civilian guest players. As part of its sports development and police-community relations advocacy, the PNP established a women's volleyball team that competed in the 2013 (10th) Shakey’s V-League Open Conference Tournament held in San Juan Sports Arena, San Juan City last August 18 to October 22, 2013. The first PNP Women Volleyball team was formed through the Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM). They were called the “PNP Lady P.A.T.R.O.L.ers” in relation to the call agenda of the PNP for transformation. The PNP joined the league to use broadcast media as a venue to promote the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Shakey's V-League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The Spikers' Turf has served as the men's counterpart of the league. Philippine National Police
The Philippine National Police ( fil, Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas, acronymed as PNP) is the armed national police force in the Philippines. Its national headquarters is located at Camp Crame in Bagong Lipunan ng Crame, Quezon City. Currently, it has approximately 220,000 personnel to police a population in excess of 100 million. The agency is administered and controlled by the National Police Commission and is part of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). Local police officers are operationally controlled by municipal mayors. DILG, on the other hand, organizes, trains and equips the PNP for the performance of police functions as a police force that is national in scope and civilian in character. The PNP was formed on January 29, 1991, when the Philippine Constabulary and the Integrated National Police were merged pursuant to Republic Act 6975 of 1990.

Shakey's V-League 11th Season Open Conference
The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: Open Conference was the 20th conference of Shakey's V-League held between June 29, 2014, to August 31, 2014. The opening ceremonies were held on June 29, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There were eight (8) teams that competed, with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers emerging as the tournament's champion. Tournament Format Preliminaries (PL) Eight (8) competing teams had a Single Round-robin. Top six (6) teams qualified for the Quarterfinals.
