The PLDT HOME TVolution team is the name of the men's (nicknamed "Power Pinoys") and women's (nicknamed "Power Pinays") volleyball teams sponsored by the PLDT, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company specifically formed to represent the Philippines in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship and the 2014 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship. Premier Volleyball League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The Spikers' Turf has served as the men's counterpart of the league. History Shakey's V-League (2004–2016) The Premier Volleyball League was established in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. led by Jun Bernardino, Ricky Palou, Moying Martelino, and Rhea Navarro who were businessmen previously known for being men's basketball patrons. The Shakey's V-League was initially an inter-collegiate women's league with teams from the UAAP, NCAA, CESAFI among others playing in the league. Alyja Daphne "Jaja" Antonio Santiago (born January 20, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for Saitama Ageo Medics of the Japan's V.League. Personal life Santiago was born on January 20, 1996, the fourth of five siblings. Her brother Axel Leonard Santiago, a former champion of men's volleyball player in National University "NU Bulldogs" of UAAP Season 75, is currently working in PLDT and her older sister is working in Dubai, while she and her sister, Aleona Denise "Dindin" Santiago, both played for the women's volleyball in different leagues. Suzanne Roces
Suzanne "Sue" Roces (born January 17, 1985), is a Filipino former volleyball player. Career College Sue Roces attended the University of the East for her collegiate studies and played the UE Lady Warriors women's volleyball team in the UAAP. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2002 in Season 65. She also competed in beach volleyball, helping UE clinch a silver medal in UAAP Season 69 for the 2006–07 academic year. Angeli Tabaquero
Maria Angeli Tabaquero is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member of the UAAP champion teams of the UST Golden Tigresses (2008-2010). Career Tabaquero was named team captain for the Philippine national team in 2013 in the Asian Championship. She was the captain of the Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns club that won the 2013 Shakey's V-League Open Conference over Smart-Maynilad Net Spikers in the finals. Lizlee Ann Gata-Pantone
Lizlee Ann "Tatan" Gata-Pantone (born 17 August 1988) is a retired Filipino volleyball player who last played for PLDT Home Fibr of the 2019 PSL Grand Prix Conference. She was a member of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of Adamson University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She played for PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters where she helped the team in winning multiple championships. Pantone was also a member of Philippines national team. She holds the record in the UAAP with the most number of digs and receptions in a single game tallying 77 excellent digs and 63 excellent receptions. Regla Maritza Bell MacKenzie (July 6, 1970 in Havana) is a volleyball player from Cuba who won the gold medal three times at the Olympic Games from 1992–2000, and the World Championship in 1998 with the Cuban national team.
