PJ Ladd
Patrick John Ladd (born January 11, 1983), professionally known as PJ Ladd, is an American professional skateboarder whose stance is ''regular''. Ladd was labelled an "east coast legend" by fellow professional skateboarder and team manager John Rattray in May 2013. Early life Ladd was born in Rockland, Massachusetts and grew up in Boston. Ladd revealed in a 2013 interview that skateboarding was a prominent aspect of his childhood in Boston: "I would skate my box and flatbar in the warehouse next to my father's auto parts store and then take the train into downtown to skate. Before that I skated this concrete stage in the high school parking lot. And before that, just in front of my house. It was good." Also in the 2013 interview, Ladd explained that his upbringing strengthened his character and stated that he is "grateful" for his upbringing, even though it was difficult, "because it made me addwho I am." Saffron Walden
Saffron Walden is a market town in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England, north of Bishop's Stortford, south of Cambridge and north of London. Michael Capaldi (born March 27, 1990), popularly known as Mike Mo Capaldi, is a professional regular-footed skateboarder who gained popularity following his video part in ''Forecast'', a video produced by professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez. Early life Capaldi originates from Simi Valley, California, and attended Royal High School. Capaldi explained in early 2013 that the "Mo" in his name is a nickname that was given to him by his father while he was a young boy. The Berrics
The Berrics is a private indoor skatepark owned by professional skateboarders Steve Berra and Eric Koston. It is also a website providing content filmed in the skatepark, as well other skateboard-related media. The facility's name is a portmanteau of the owners' names (the "Ber" of Berra's surname and the "ric" of Koston's first name). ''Skate 3'' is a skateboarding video game, the third installment in the ''Skate'' series and the sequel to 2009's ''Skate 2'', developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. It was released worldwide in May 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game takes place in the fictional city of Port Carverton, which embraces skateboarding, unlike considering it a crime in the second game. The player character goes by the alias "The Legend". After failing to "''Jump The Shark''", their goal becomes creating a successful skateboarding team. It is the player's goal to sell one million boards by completing challenges. ''Skate'' (stylized as ''skate.'') is a skateboarding video game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and mobile phones. It was developed by EA Black Box and released in 2007. Two sequels, ''Skate 2'' and ''Skate 3'', have been released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as ''Skate It'', a spin-off for Wii, Nintendo DS and iOS platforms. In June 2020, EA announced plans for a new ''Skate'' game. Development The game's "flick it" control system began development long before any graphics had been implemented: the initial prototype simply read analog stick motions and displayed a basic text message saying what trick had been performed, along with speed and accuracy ratings.
