PFF National Training Center
The PFF National Training Center or the National Football Center is a football ground at the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park in Carmona, Cavite. History Plans to construct a football facility in Carmona, Cavite were announced as early as June 2014. The Philippine Football Federation signed a lease agreement for rights to land occupying an area of to build a training center, initially known as the National Teams Training Center, to be built under the $500 thousand FIFA Goal Project 3. The groundbreaking ceremony for the facility located within the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park of the Manila Jockey Club was held on 30 November 2014 and was led by then FIFA President Sepp Blatter. It was projected to be complete by 2015 but the facility was inaugurated two years later. Carmona, Cavite
Carmona, officially the Municipality of Carmona ( tgl, Bayan ng Carmona), is a 1st class municipality located in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 106,256 people. Etymology When Silang became a town and Latag was annexed as a part of it since 1595. Latag gradually developed into a community whose residents struggled hard to make it a town. Their burning desires were filled with hopes and fulfillment in 1856 when their move for the conversion of Latag into a town was spearheaded by a leader named Tiburcio Purificacion. San Lazaro Leisure Park
The San Lazaro Leisure Park, officially known as the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park is a mixed-used venue which features a racetrack in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. It is the home of the Manila Jockey Club. The leisure park occupies a land and houses around 1,000 thoroughbreds as of 2015. Pagcor operates a Casino within the area. It also houses a small venue inside the turf building, for cockfighting. The venue hosts a casino and is planned to be the site of the National Teams Training Centre to be used by both the national men's and women's football team. Within the grounds of the leisure park venues to accommodate baseball, football, and wakeboarding are being built. A concert venue is also planned. The 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup was the 19th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup, the quadrennial international football tournament in Asia competed by the women's national teams in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The Philippines women's national football team represents the Philippines in international Women's association football, women's football. It is managed by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), the governing body of football in the country. The women's national football team of the Philippines was formalized in the 1980s. Artificial Turf
Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenanceartificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. Domed, covered, and partially covered stadiums may require artificial turf because of the difficulty of getting grass enough sunlight to stay healthy. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The collegiate women's varsity basketball team is called the ''Lady Eagles''. The Ateneo collegiate men's varsity basketball team was not always called the Blue Eagles. Ang Liga () is an inter-collegiate football tournament based in the Philippines. It serves as a pre-season tourney for competing football varsity teams from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), UAAP and other similar collegiate leagues, before the regular football tournaments begin within the second semester of the academic year. The De La Salle Lady Booters are the varsity women's football team of the De La Salle University. They compete at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), as well as at the PFF Women's League, the top flight domestic women's football league in the Philippines. PFF Women's League The collegiate squad was among the pioneer teams of the first season of the PFF Women's League which ran from 2016 to 2017.
