The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a men's professional basketball league in the Philippines composed of twelve company-branded franchised teams. Edward "Poch" Juinio (born May 25, 1973) is a Filipino retired former professional basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association. He played most of his seasons with Alaska Aces and won numerous championships. Professional career Alaska Milkmen A former 6'5" standout of the UP Fighting Maroons, Juinio was drafted by Alaska as the 5th overall pick in the 1994 PBA Draft. He turned out to be a revelation with his aggressive stance underneath the boards. He became an unheralded part of Alaska's starting unit when the team captured the PBA Grand Slam in 1996. He was awarded as the Most Improved Player of the Season and blossomed into one of the most dependable slotmen in the league. Eric Menk
Eric Conrad Menk (born August 24, 1974) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player who played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the Asean Basketball League. Known as Major Pain, Menk is a four-time PBA champion and was the 2004–05 PBA Most Valuable Player. Menk had played for the Barangay Ginebra franchise for twelve seasons before being waived and signed by the San Miguel Beermen of the ASEAN Basketball League. Jeffrey Joaquin Cariaso is a Filipino-American coach and retired professional basketball player. He is the former head coach of the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The TNT (cellular service), TNT Tropang Giga is a professional basketball team currently owned by Smart Communications, a subsidiary of the PLDT, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 1990. The franchise began in 1990 when Pepsi Philippines, Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) acquired a PBA franchise. Under PCPPI, the franchise played under the names Pepsi and 7 Up.
