Lordy Tugade (born December 30, 1977 in Alaminos, Pangasinan) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player. Willie Miller (basketball Player)
Willie V. Miller Jr. (born July 13, 1977) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Pilipinas MX3 Kings of the ASEAN Basketball League. He has started at the point guard position mostly but could also play the shooting guard spot. Miller has won four PBA championships and two PBA Most Valuable Player Awards. Miller played college basketball for Letran, where he was highly promoted in the national media as a future PBA superstar. After graduating, he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2001 PBA draft by the Thunder. Joseller "Yeng" Medina Guiao (born March 19, 1959) is a Filipino professional basketball head coach, politician, commentator and sports commissioner. He is currently the head coach of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters of the Philippine Basketball Association. He previously served as the interim head coach of the Philippine national team. Kerby Mariano Raymundo (born January 19, 1981) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Known as The Kid, he was a former star player with the Letran Knights during his NCAA years. Jimwell Torion (born March 13, 1973) is a former Filipino professional basketball player in the PBA from 2000 to 2007. Career Highlights Torion was one of the many Cebuano cagers brought in by Photokina Marketing when it joined the PBL as Agfa Color (and later Red Bull). When Red Bull joined the PBA in the 2000 season, they were allowed to take six players from the amateur ranks, which includes himself, Kerby Raymundo, Lordy Tugade, Junthy Valenzuela, Davonn Harp and Bernard Tanpua. Junthy Valenzuela (born June 5, 1979) is a Filipino former basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), a former Barako Bull Energy Boosters, Red Bull Barako player. He was automatically pulled by Red Bull directly from the Philippine Basketball League. On April 14, 2008, he was traded by the Barako Bull Energy Boosters, Red Bull Barako to the Barangay Ginebra Kings in exchange for a 2009 second round pick and a 2010 first round draft pick. After his PBA career came into an end, Valenzuela returned to his home province, Cebu to become an assistant coach of the University of San Carlos Warriors men's basketball team in the CESAFI. He is currently an assistant coach for both the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the NU Bulldogs of the UAAP. The Philippine Basketball League (PBL) was a commercial semi-professional basketball league in the Philippines. The league was composed of several commercial teams with several collegiate and provincial stars. History The PBL was formed on May 6, 1983, a brainchild of San Miguel Corporation chairman Danding Cojuangco, under its original name the Philippine Amateur Basketball League (PABL).
