Provincial Assembly Of Balochistan
The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. Abdul Quddus Bizenjo is the Leader of the House in the Provincial Assembly as the Chief Minister, while Malik Sikandar Khan is the current Leader of the Opposition. Balochistan Awami Party
The Balochistan Awami Party ( ur, , lit=Balochistan People's Party) is a political party based in the Balochistan province of Pakistan founded in 2018 by political dissidents of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) in Balochistan. The party emerged as the largest party in Balochistan as a result of the 2018 Pakistani general election. It leads a coalition government in the province and is also a part of the ruling coalition in the National Assembly. It also has 4 elected members in the KP Assembly. Origins On 24 December 2015, Sanaullah Zehri of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Balochistan. His tenure lasted for two years, until on 2 January 2018, dissident MPAs of his own party rebelled against him and decided to support the opposition in a motion of no confidence against him. Duki District
Duki ( bal, دوکی, ur, ) is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 1092 metres (3585 feet). It is sub-divided into union councils, mainly Vialla Duki, Zangal Rabat, Sadar, Civil Station, Nasarbad, Thal, Luni and Nana Sahib Ziarat. Its main revenue comes from agriculture and natural resources. Being a tribal society it has tribes: Tareens including Raisani, Kakar Shadozai, Nasars, Lunis. Duki is one of the least developed districts of Pakistan, not only lagging behind in development, but also health, education, infrastructure and many other facilities. It is the only district where two polio cases were reported in 2018. The prominent tribal leaders of Duki are Sardar Israr Tareen (MNA), Sardar Yaqoob Nasar, Sardar Masood Ali Khan Looni (MPA) Sardar Shafiq Tareen (Senator), and Major Ali Muhammad Shadozai.
