Provincial Assembly Of Balochistan
The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. Abdul Quddus Bizenjo is the Leader of the House in the Provincial Assembly as the Chief Minister, while Malik Sikandar Khan is the current Leader of the Opposition. Balochistan Awami Party
The Balochistan Awami Party ( ur, , lit=Balochistan People's Party) is a political party based in the Balochistan province of Pakistan founded in 2018 by political dissidents of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) in Balochistan. The party emerged as the largest party in Balochistan as a result of the 2018 Pakistani general election. It leads a coalition government in the province and is also a part of the ruling coalition in the National Assembly. It also has 4 elected members in the KP Assembly. Origins On 24 December 2015, Sanaullah Zehri of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Loralai District ( ur, ) is a district in the northeast of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Loralai town is the district headquarters. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 244,446, of which 130,484 were males and 113,950 females. Rural population was 189,597 (77.56%) while the urban population was 54,849 (22.44%). The literacy rate was 42.42% - the male literacy rate was 56.99% while the female literacy rate was 25.46%. 1,201 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of the 2017 census, 93.29% of the population spoke Pashto, 1.68% Saraiki, 1.48% Balochi and 1.31% Punjabi as their first language.
