P. L. Raj (born "Devraj Peter Lewis"; 10 August 1934 – 9 July 2002) was a noted Bollywood film choreographer, who was the leading choreographer of 1960 and 70s Hindi cinema. He established face-paced dancing and cabaret-style dance numbers. He most known for his work with Helen, Shammi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, most notably film like ''Junglee'' (1961), ''Professor'' (1962), ''Teesri Manzil'' (1966), ''Intaquam'' (1969), ''Sholay'' (1975), and ''Don'' (1978). He choreographed over 1,000 films in Hindi as well as regional cinemas including Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and Punjabi. Early life Raj was born on 10 August 1934 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and grew up in Hyderabad from where he ran away at age 10 and reached Mumbai. ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' () is a 1978 Indian drama film produced and directed by Prakash Mehra, and written by Kader Khan, Vijay Kaul and Laxmikant Sharma. ''Gumnaam'' (translation: ''Unknown'' or ''Anonymous'') is a 1965 Indian Bollywood thriller film directed by Raja Nawathe, starring Manoj Kumar, Nanda, Pran, Helen and Mehmood. Dharamdev Pishorimal Anand (26 September 1923 – 3 December 2011), better known as Dev Anand, was an Indian actor, writer, director and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema, through a career that spanned over six decades. "Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu" () is a song from the 1958 Indian film ''Howrah Bridge''. It was sung by Geeta Dutt, and was picturised on Helen. The song has lyrics by Qamar Jalalabadi and was composed by O.P. Nayyar. The tune at the beginning of the song was created by S Hazara Singh, the Hawaiian guitarist of OP Nayyar. In the movie, Helen plays "Chin Chin Chu", a flirtatious dancer from Shanghai who sings the song. The song became highly popular, and rejuvenated the career of the singer Geeta Dutt.
