Over 10 Years
''Over 10 Years'' is a special album (unofficially the seventh Korean album) by South Korean rock band, FT Island, released on June 7, 2017, by FNC Entertainment. The album was preceded by a remake of the band's debut song, "Love Sick", while the lead single, "Wind", released alongside the album. Background FT Island debuted on June 7, 2007, with the album, ''Cheerful Sensibility'', and its lead title, "Love Sick". Since then the band has grown in fame, being referred to as "Korea's first ever K-pop idol band." On May 21, 2017, FNC Entertainment announced that FT Island would be releasing an album to commemorate their tenth anniversary on June 7, coinciding with their original debut date. On May 23, the band opened up a website to share their tenth anniversary promotions, as well as the news of a remake of "Love Sick", scheduled for release on May 28. FT Island
F.T. Island ( ko, 에프티 아일랜드, or FT아일랜드, short for Five Treasure Island), is a South Korean rock band formed by FNC Entertainment in 2007. The band currently consists of main vocalist Lee Hong-gi, bassist Lee Jae-jin, and drummer Choi Min-hwan. Guitarist Oh Won-bin left the band in 2009 and was replaced by Song Seung-hyun. Former leader Choi Jong-hoon left the band and retired from the entertainment industry on March 14, 2019, while Seung-hyun left the group on December 31, 2019, to pursue his acting career. F.T. Island debuted on the music television program M! Countdown on June 7, 2007, with the single "Love Sick". Their debut studio album, '' Cheerful Sensibility'', was the sixth best-selling of the year and "Love Sick" topped the K-pop charts for eight consecutive weeks. FNC Entertainment (; stands for "fish and cake") is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2006 by South Korean singer and record producer Han Seong-ho. The label operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. The label previously known as FNC Music, only managed musicians but later changed its name to FNC Entertainment in 2012 and began to broaden their business field of entertainment. It has since January 2012, been based in its own company offices in Cheongdam-dong. The name is based on the miracle of feeding the multitude using only five loaves and the two fish. ''Cheerful Sensibility'' is the first studio album by South Korean band F.T. Island, released on 5 June 2007. The album contains 13 songs divided into two sections: "Emotional Chapter" consists of Rock music, rock ballads, while "F.T. Island Chapter" is made up of pop-rock songs written by Japanese composers. The album sold 79,000 copies and became the sixth most sold album of the year in South Korea. It was re-released on 3 December by the title ''The Refreshment'', with three new songs. The package included a Music 2.0 program, which enabled changes to the levels of vocals and instruments.
