Ottestad IL
Ottestad Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from Ottestad in Stange, founded on 28 May 1918. It has sections for association football, team handball, cross-country skiing and cycling. The men's football team have been playing in the Third Division since 2004, and plays its home matches at Ottestad Idrettspark. The team reached the Second Round of the Norwegian Football Cup for the first time in 2012 Norwegian Football Cup, after beating Brumunddal 4–3 in the First Round. Ottestad
Ottestad is a village in Stange Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village centre is located about north of the village of Stangebyen and about south of the village of Bekkelaget, Innlandet, Bekkelaget. The whole northern part of Stange, surrounding the village centre, is often referred to as Ottestad as well. Ottestad Church is located in the village. Historically, the families who lived on the Ottestad farm took that farm name as their surname. The name is a protected surname in Norway seeing that fewer than 200 people have it. The Norwegian Football Cup ( no, Norgesmesterskapet i fotball for herrer) is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. ''Romerikes Blad'' is a local newspaper published in Lillestrøm, Norway. It covers the Romerike district. History and profile ''Romerikes Blad'' was established by Martin Julius Halvorsen in 1902 in Jessheim under the name ''Akershusingen'', and was affiliated with the Norwegian Labour Party. The name ''Romerikes Blad'' was taken in 1905. Between 1953 and 1967 it expanded from two to five editions a week. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club from the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Lillestrøm SK is a Norwegian football club based in Lillestrøm, playing in Eliteserien. The club was founded in 1917, after the merger of two local football clubs. ''Hamar Arbeiderblad'' (often referred to locally as "HA") is local newspaper published in Hamar, Norway by Hamar Media. The paper is edited by Carsten Bleness. HA was one of the first newspapers to place the internet edition of a newspaper behind a paywall. Access to the internet edition is free for annual subscribers to the print edition. Brumunddal Fotball
Brumunddal Fotball is the football section of the Norwegian alliance sports club Brumunddal IL, located in Brumunddal, Hedmark. The organizational independency of the football section dates from 2003, although its parent club was founded in 1895. The men's football team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football. History The team played in the Third Division, but after being relegated in 1995 it languished in the Fourth Division. Its return to the Third Division in 1998 also became short-lived. The team then had a longer stint from 2001 to 2004, when Strømmen IF was beaten in the playoffs, securing promotion to the 2005 Norwegian Second Division.
