Brumunddal Fotball
Brumunddal Fotball is the football section of the Norwegian alliance sports club Brumunddal IL, located in Brumunddal, Hedmark. The organizational independency of the football section dates from 2003, although its parent club was founded in 1895. The men's football team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football. History The team played in the Third Division, but after being relegated in 1995 it languished in the Fourth Division. Its return to the Third Division in 1998 also became short-lived. The team then had a longer stint from 2001 to 2004, when Strømmen IF was beaten in the playoffs, securing promotion to the 2005 Norwegian Second Division. The team had lost similar playoffs in 2003 and 2002. Brumunddal was instantly relegated to the Third Division again, but won the 2009 playoffs and has since played in the Second Division again. Brumunddal
Brumunddal is a town in Ringsaker Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of the municipality. It is located on the shores of the lake Mjøsa, about north of the town of Hamar. The town is a small, densely populated area surrounded by countryside and farms. It is situated at the mouth of river Brumunda, running from the highlands into lake Mjøsa. Brumunddal Church is located in the village. The town has a population (2021) of 11,019 and a population density of . This makes it the largest settlement in all of Ringsaker municipality. The dominant industries are agriculture, ore refining, and tourism. Tine also has a large production facility in the town. Brumunddal is the hometown of the woman behind one of Norway's most popular frozen pizza brands, Grandiosa. The local football team is Brumunddal Fotball. Eldar Hadžimehmedović
Eldar Hadzimehmedovic (born 10 September 1984) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player who plays as a striker or as an attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Norwegian side Brumunddal. Life and career He was born in Tuzla, SR Bosnia-Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, and came to Norway at the age of 12. He previously played for Bærum in two periods, Lyn, Strømsgodset, Pors Grenland and Modum FK. Ahead of the 2014 season he went from Raufoss to Brumunddal. He never made a breakthrough at Lyn, but made a name for himself against NSÍ Runavík in the UEFA Cup qualifying round. In the second leg, the then-18-year-old Hadžimehmedović made the unusual starting eleven, scoring a hat-trick in the first half. He then scored another hat-trick in the first 25 minutes of the second half.
