Oscar Avogadro
Oscar Avogadro (9 August 1951 – 30 September 2010) was an Italian lyricist. Born in Turin, Avogadro debuted in the late 1960s as the vocalist of the short-lived vocal group . After the group disbanded, he started a career as a lyricist, getting his first hits in collaboration with Sandro Giacobbe in the early 1970s. He was a usual collaborator of Mario Lavezzi and Oscar Prudente. Sandro Giacobbe (born 14 December 1949) is an Italian singer-songwriter. Life and career Born in Genova in 1949, Giacobbe started his career in the early 1970s and got his first success in 1974, with the song "Signora mia", which entered the top-ten on the Italian hit parade. For about a decade, he got several major hits, usually consisting in romantic ballads characterized by intimate and sometimes malicious tones. His song ""El Jardín Prohibido", the Spanish-language version of "Il giardino proibito", peaked on first place at the Spanish hit parade in 1976. The same year, he entered the main competition at the Sanremo Music Festival, ranking third with the song "Gli occhi di tua madre"; the song reached the second place on the Italian hit parade. Mario Lavezzi
Bruno Mario Lavezzi (born 8 May 1948) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, record producer and guitarist. Life and career Born in Milan, he studied piano and guitar at the Scuola Civica di Milano. He started his career in 1963, as the singer and guitarist for the band The Trappers. In 1966, following the dissolution of the band, he replaced Riki Maiocchi in the I Camaleonti until 1968, when he had to leave the band after being drafted into the Italian army. In 1969 he debuted as a composer with the Dik Dik hit "Il primo giorno di primavera". In 1970 he co-founded the pop-rock group Flora Fauna e Cemento, then in 1974 he was part of the progressive rock musical project Il Volo. Oscar Prudente
Oscar Prudente (born 9 January 1944) is an Italian pop-rock singer-songwriter, arranger, musician and composer. Career Born in Rossiglione, Genoa, at young age Prudente studied drums, piano and guitar. At fifteen, while attending the high school, he was chosen by Colin Hicks as the drummer for his European tour. Back in Italy, he became the drummer of Luigi Tenco for his live performances; noticed by the record producer Nanni Ricordi, he released several singles in the sixties, entering the competition at several music festivals including Cantagiro and Un disco per l'estate. The turning point of his career was the encounter with Ivano Fossati, with whom he composed several hits of the progressive rock group Delirium and with whom, after that Fossati left the group, he released the album ''Poco prima dell'aurora''.
