Sanremo Music Festival 1983
The Sanremo Music Festival 1983 ( it, Festival di Sanremo 1983), officially the 33rd Italian Song Festival (), was the 33rd annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia between 3 and 5 February 1983 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was hosted by the actor Andrea Giordana, assisted by the trio of presenters of the musical show ''Discoring'', Isabel Russinova, Anna Pettinelli, Emanuela Falcetti. Daniele Piombi and Roberta Manfredi hosted the segments from the Sanremo Casino, where a number of foreign guests performed. The winner of the Festival was Tiziana Rivale with the song "Sarà quel che sarà", while Matia Bazar Matia Bazar () is an Italian pop band formed in Genoa in 1975. Andrea Giordana (born 27 March 1946) is an Italian actor. He has appeared in more than 14 films, 29 television and 35 theater shows since the mostly late 1950s. Early life He was born in Rome, Italy to film director Claudio Gora and actress Marina Berti. His siblings are Marina , Luca, Carlo and Cristina. Dori Ghezzi
Dori Ghezzi (born 30 March 1946) is an Italian singer who was active as a recording artist between 1966 and 1989. In the 1970s, Ghezzi worked mainly in a duo with American singer Wess, and the couple represented Italy in the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest. Early career Ghezzi was born in Lentate sul Seveso, in the province of Monza and Brianza. After winning a regional song festival in 1966, Ghezzi was offered a recording contract with Milan-based record label Durium. In the following years, she released several successful singles including "Vivere per vivere" and "Casatschock". Ghezzi made her first appearance in the San Remo Festival in 1970, performing "Occhi a mandorla", a duet with Rossano, but the song failed to qualify for the final. Simon Boswell (born 15 October 1956) is a BAFTA-nominated British film score composer, conductor, producer and musician, with more than 100 credits to his name. Mogol (lyricist)
Giulio Rapetti (born 17 August 1936), in art Mogol (), is an Italian music lyricist. He is best known for his collaborations with Lucio Battisti, Gianni Bella, Adriano Celentano and Mango. Career Mogol was born in Milan. His father, Mariano Rapetti, was an important director of the Ricordi record label, and had been in his own time a successful lyricist of the 1950s. Young Giulio, who was likewise employed by Ricordi as a public relations expert, began his own career as a lyricist against his father's wishes. Gianni Morandi (; born 11 December 1944) is an Italian pop singer, actor and entertainer. Early life Gian Luigi Morandi was born in a little village called Monghidoro on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
