Orpheus Omega are a melodic death metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Originally called ''Orpheus'', the band changed their name to ''Orpheus Omega'' on April 26, 2013, prior to the release of their second studio album ''Resillusion''. The current line up consists of Chris Themelco (Vocals & Lead Guitar), Joao Goncalves (guitar), Olive Keswick Gallagher (Keyboards & Backing Vocals) and Matt Themelco (drums). Their most recent album, ''Wear Your Sins'' was released in March 2019. To date, the band has released four studio albums, one EP and two live DVDs. They are one of the first bands to contain an openly transgender woman in their genre. Omnium Gatherum is a six-piece melodic death metal band from Finland, founded in the autumn of 1996. The Black Dahlia Murder is an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, formed in 2001. Their name is derived from the 1947 unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, often referred to as Black Dahlia. Unearth is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 1998, the group has released seven studio albums. History Early career (1998–2002) Unearth was formed by Trevor Phipps, Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, Mike Rudberg, and Chris Rybicki in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998. The band began as Point 04 (containing McGrath, Rudberg, and Rybicki), and Susi was recruited soon afterwards. The band attempted to recruit Phipps while he recovered from appendicitis, but Phipps was reluctant to join.
