Orange Pavilion
Orange Pavilion is a multi-purpose arena on the grounds of the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California. It seats 5,000 spectators and is best known for hosting the National Orange Show Festival. It was home to the San Bernardino Bucking Bulls, of the NIFL. The arena played host to the Tattoo the Earth Tour on August 12, 2000. The show featured performances by Slipknot, Slayer, Sevendust, Sepultura, Hed PE, Mudvayne, downset., Hatebreed, Full Devil Jacket, Famous, Amen, U.P.O., Nothingface, Professional Murder Music, Relative Ash, Systematic, and Nashville Pussy. It also featured 42 tattoo artists from Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Malaysia, Manitoba, Spain, Switzerland and the US. Hatebreed is an American hardcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 1994. The band released its debut album '' Satisfaction is the Death of Desire'' in 1997, which gave the band a cult following. The band signed to Universal Records and released ''Perseverance'' in 2002, which hit the ''Billboard'' 200. Combining elements of hardcore and heavy metal, the band is often described as a metalcore, hardcore punk, and beatdown hardcore band. They have played a major role in the Connecticut hardcore scene. Nashville Pussy is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Initially called Hell's Half-Acre, the band's name comes from Ted Nugent's introduction to "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" on the ''Double Live Gonzo'' album. Systematic was an American hard rock band from Oakland, California. They were one of the first signings to Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich's record label, The Music Company, via Elektra Records. The band released two studio albums before disbanding in 2004. History After signing with The Music Company, Systematic recorded their debut album, ''Somewhere in Between''. Released in late 2001, it reached #143 in Billboard album chart. Systematic toured on Ozzfest the same year. Nothingface was an American alternative metal band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1993. Their best-known and most prolific line-up consisted of Matt Holt (vocals), Tom Maxwell (guitar), Bill Gaal (bass) and Chris Houck (drums). Full Devil Jacket is an American alternative metal/ nu metal band from Jackson, Tennessee. Formation and success Musicians Josh Brown, Mike Reaves, Kevin Bebout, and Keith Foster all met at Josh Brown's brother's tattoo shop in Jackson, Tennessee and formed the band Voodoo Hippies. Jonathan Montoya was the last addition to the band as the second guitarist. While still playing gigs in Jackson, the band caught the eye of rock producer Malcolm Springer (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul). Before being signed to Island/Def Jam Records, the band changed its name to Full Devil Jacket. There are two stories on how the band chose this name. One is that the band was named after a song written by lead singer Josh Brown, called "Full Devil Jacket". Another story is that the band simply pulled the name from a magazine article.
