One More Day (Eldrine Song)
Georgia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "One More Day" written by DJ BE$$, DJ Rock and Mikheil Chelidze. The song was performed by the band Eldrine. The Georgian broadcaster Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) held a national final in order to select the Georgian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. An open call for submissions was held which resulted in the shortlisting of seven entries that were presented to the public during a televised production on 19 February 2011. The results of a public televote combined with the votes of an expert jury resulted in the selection of "One More Day" performed by Eldrine as the Georgian entry. Georgia was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2011. Eldrine
Eldrine (IPA: ɔːlˈdʒɹaɪn, ; stylised as ƎLDRINE and also known as Eldraini) is a Georgian nu metal band that represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song " One More Day". The current line-up consists of 6 band members: Mariam Tomaradze who replaced Sophio Toroshelidze, Mikheil Chelidze, Irakli Bibilashvili, David Changoshvili, Tamar Shekiladze and Beso Tsikhelashvili. To date, they have released one studio album, entitled ''Fake Reality''. It was released in January 2011, and a re-issued version is planned for release with the inclusion of "One More Day". Georgia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 14 times, debuting at the 2007 contest. Georgia planned to participate in 2009, but decided to withdraw after the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) demanded it to re-write its song which made reference to the then-Russian prime minister, Vladimir Putin. Georgia has reached the final on seven occasions, achieving two top ten placements, with Sofia Nizharadze () and Eldrine () both finishing ninth. Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Čaroban" written by Kristina Kovač. The song was performed by Nina. The Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) organised the national final ''Pesma za Evropu - Diseldorf 2011'' in order to select the Serbian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Rustaveli National Theatre ( ka, შოთა რუსთაველის სახელობის აკადემიური თეატრი ) is the largest and one of the oldest theaters of Georgia, located in its capital Tbilisi on Rustaveli Avenue. Biography She claimed third prize at the commercial song contest " New Wave" 2006 in Jūrmala, Latvia.
