On Tat Shopping Centre
On Tat Estate () and On Tai Estate () are Hong Kong public housing estates located on Anderson Road, Tai Sheung Tok, Sau Mau Ping, Kwun Tong District and the parts of Development at Anderson Road. The former comprises 11 blocks with a total of 9,356 flats while the latter comprises 11 blocks with 8,561 units. History The site of the estates was formerly a vegetated hillslope below Anderson Road. Under the "Development at Anderson Road" (DAR) project, the site was reformed under the supervision of the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) to provide approximately 20 hectares of useable land. In addition to site formation, the DAR project included the construction of supporting infrastructure, including roads, drains, and engineered slopes. The buildable land was allocated for public housing development as well as supporting government, institutional, and community facilities. The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) is a department of the Hong Kong government that reports to the Development Bureau. The Education Bureau (EDB) is responsible for formulating and implementing education policies in Hong Kong. The bureau is headed by the Secretary for Education and oversees agencies including University Grants Committee and Student Finance Office. Clear Water Bay Road () is a major road from Choi Hung Interchange in Ngau Chi Wan to Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung District. It also is a route to Sai Kung Town and Tseung Kwan O via Hiram's Highway and Hang Hau Road / Ying Yip Road respectively. An expressway deviation, New Clear Water Bay Road (), bypasses a steep, winding, 1 in 6 alignment of Clear Water Bay Road near Shun Lee and Fei Ngo Shan. Kwun Tong District
Kwun Tong is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in Kowloon, and is the easternmost and southernmost district in Kowloon. It had a population of 648,541 in 2016. The district has the second highest population in Hong Kong, after Sha Tin District, while the income is below average. Kwun Tong District borders Sai Kung District to the east, Wong Tai Sin District to the north, and Kowloon City District to the west. Tai Sheung Tok
Tai Sheung Tok (Chinese language, Chinese: 大上托) is a hill between the communities of Sau Mau Ping and Tseng Lan Shue, Hong Kong. Geography Tai Sheung Tok used to be 419m (1,375ft) in height, but because of mining activities by K. Wah Group (owned by Lui Che-woo who went on to become Macau gambling mogul) at the Anderson Road, Hong Kong, Anderson Quarry in the 20th century, its height has been reduced to 399m (1,309ft). Civic construction work on the ''Development at Anderson Road (DAR)'' is being finished, while another project called the ''Development of Anderson Road Quarry Site (ARQ)'' has recently commenced at the foot of Tai Sheung Tok.
