''Oldarhian'' is the second album by Norwegian black/thrash metal band Sarke. It was released 15 April 2011 via Indie Recordings. History On 18 October 2010, Sarke, this time with a full line-up, entered the studio, always with producer Lars-Erik Westby. On February 2011, it was announced that the new album, titled ''Oldarhian'', would be released on 15 April 2011. On 19 April, there was the release party in Oslo for ''Oldarhian'', featuring special guests Insidious Disease. Sarke
Sarke is a Norwegian metal band from Oslo, formed in 2008. The band has released seven studio albums and is currently signed to Norwegian record label Indie Recordings. History Sarke formed in 2008 when Thomas "Sarke" Bergli (Khold, Tulus) decided to make a solo album. In November 2008, Sarke recorded the tracks for the album with keyboardist Anders Hunstad, produced by Lars-Erik Westby. Ted "Nocturno Culto" Skjellum ( Darkthrone, ex-Satyricon) joined Sarke and provided vocals for the debut album, titled ''Vorunah'', released on 6 April 2009 via Indie Recordings. In 2009, drummer Asgeir Mickelson and guitarist Terje "Cyrus" Andersen joined the band as live members. In 2010, Steinar Gundersen joined Sarke as their second guitar player. Nocturno Culto
Ted Skjellum (born 4 March 1972), also known by the stage name Nocturno Culto, is a Norwegian musician best known as the vocalist, lead guitarist, and partial bassist (shared with Fenriz) of the influential black metal band Darkthrone. He has been with the band since 1988. He is also the vocalist of the band Sarke, and has a solo project called Gift of Gods. He currently works in Norway as a school teacher, and has a son and a daughter. He has also released a documentary film called ''The Misanthrope'' in which he deals with black metal music and life in Norway. Cyrus (musician)
Terje Andersen (born 12 May 1975), known professionally as Cyrus, is a Norwegian musician best known as the guitarist of the black metal band Susperia. He plays guitar and bass guitar. Biography Cyrus started his career in 1997 when he went playing in a band called Seven Sins with ex-Dimmu Borgir drummer Tjodalv. The band released one demo tape in that period. In 1999, they changed name to Susperia. In 2000, Cyrus went playing guitar with Satyricon for a worldwide tour. He was in Satyricon for two years as session member. In 2009, he became a session guitarist of thrash/black metal band Sarke. In 2011, with Susperia he released first Susperia's single "Nothing Remains". Cyrus recently played guitar in Susperia (as full-time member) and Sarke (as session member) and bass guitar in Dimmu Borgir (as session member). History In April 2013, it was announced that Sarke would have released their third album ''Aruagint'' on 24 May 2013 and that the artwork was created by known artist Maxime Taccardi.
