Latvia Fed Cup Team
The Latvia women's national tennis team represents Latvia in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Latvian Tennis Union. They currently compete in World Group II. History Latvia competed in its first Fed Cup in 1992. Their best result was reaching the round of 16 in 1993. Prior to 1992, Latvian players represented the Soviet Union. Larisa Savchenko holds the record for most doubles win (38) in Fed Cup. She achieved this record while playing for both Latvia and the Soviet Union. Jaffa
Jaffa, in Hebrew Yafo ( he, יָפוֹ, ) and in Arabic Yafa ( ar, يَافَا) and also called Japho or Joppa, the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, is an ancient port city in Israel. Jaffa is known for its association with the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter as well as the mythological story of Andromeda and Perseus, and later for its oranges. Jūrmala
Jūrmala (; "seaside") is a state city in Latvia, about west of Riga. Jūrmala is a resort town stretching and sandwiched between the Gulf of Riga and the Lielupe River. It has a stretch of white-sand beach, and a population of 49,325 in 2019, making it the fifth-largest city in Latvia. Rungsted, also known as ''Rungsted Kyst'' is an affluent suburban neighborhood in Hørsholm Municipality on the Øresund coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The center of Hørsholm is located two kilometers west of Rungsted. At the Øresund coast is Rungsted Harbour, a marina. History The name Rungsted is first recorded in 1346 in the form ''Runæstigh''. Syna Schreiber (born 20 November 1978) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Up until her marriage in 2003, she competed under her maiden name Syna Schmidle. Biography Schreiber was born in Freiburg im Breisgau, the daughter of tennis instructor Wolfram, who began teaching her when she was four. Aged 14 she received a wildcard into the main draw of a WTA tournament in Leipzig and played her first tour match against Steffi Graf. In 1997, she won a $25k tournament in Flensburg, and that year reached her career-high ranking of 152 in the world.
