Ogden Outlaws
Ogden Outlaws is an American soccer team based in Ogden, Utah, United States. Founded in 2006, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. The team plays its home games in the stadium at Bonneville High School in nearby Washington Terrace, Utah, where they have played since 2009. The team's colors are black and white. History Ogden Outlaws entered the PDL in 2006, under the leadership of long-time Utah youth soccer coach Mike Hickman. To the surprise of many, Ogden made for a formidable on-field opponent almost immediately; despite a 1-0 loss to BYU Cougars in their opening game, and a 4-1 loss to Abbotsford Rangers in the next, the Outlaws regrouped themselves and rattled off three wins on the trot. Bonneville High School (Washington Terrace, Utah)
Bonneville High School is a secondary high school in Washington Terrace, Utah, United States. History Bonneville first opened its doors in the fall of 1960 to approximately 900 students, including freshmen. The school was built to address the overwhelming population growth (attributed to the post-war " baby boom") at the south end of Weber County. The school was built at a large cost to the Weber County School District. Every effort was made to make Bonneville reflect the latest in technology and culture. The building itself was designed with large, open spaces such as a central courtyard and smaller atriums spread throughout the campus. As the area continued to grow, it became necessary to renovate the buildings to house a larger student population. Cascade Surge was an American soccer team based in Salem, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1995, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2009, when the franchise folded and the team left the league. The team played its home games at McCulloch Stadium on the campus of Willamette University, where they played since 2004. The team's colors were blue and white. History The team from Salem first joined the old USISL Pro League in 1995 as Oregon Surge one of 20 expansion franchises; placed in the Northwest Division, the team was competitive from the get-go, finishing second in the table behind Hawaii Tsunami with a 14–6 records (ties were settled on penalties). Ted Eck
Ted Eck (born July 14, 1966, in Springfield, Illinois) is a retired American soccer player who played for numerous clubs in the United States and Canada over a thirteen-year professional career. He is currently an assistant coach with Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer. He also earned thirteen caps with the U.S. national team between 1989 and 1996. He coached the Ogden Outlaws in the Premier Development League. Youth and college Eck was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, where he attended Sacred Heart-Griffin High School. After graduating, he then attended Western Illinois University where he played as a forward on the men's soccer team from 1984 to 1987. Spokane Shadow is an American soccer team, founded in 1996. The team competes in the National Premier Soccer League as well as the Evergreen Premier League, one of United States Adult Soccer Association's elite amateur leagues. From 1996 to 2005, they played in the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The men's team folded when the franchise was terminated in 2006 by the PDL after the 10-year-old artificial turf at their home ground, Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane, Washington was declared unsafe for play. Sound FC is an American soccer team based in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 2006, the team most recently played in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. History 2006–2009: Playoffs The Tacoma team was introduced into the league at very short notice in 2006, when it was announced that the now-defunct Spokane Shadow franchise was suspending operations for the season.
