Southern California Seahorses
Southern California Seahorses are an American soccer team based in La Mirada, California. Founded in 2001, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team plays its home games in the stadium on the campus of Whittier College. The team's colors are navy blue, white and orange. The Seahorses are a division of Missionary Athletes International (MAI), an organization which undertakes sports ministry to share the message of Christianity through the environment of soccer. They are a sister organization of the Charlotte Eagles in USL League Two. Fresno Football Club U-23, formerly Fresno Fuego FC, was an American soccer team based in Fresno, California, United States. Founded in 2003, the team played in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The club drew an average home attendance of 3,951 in 2016, including league matches, divisional playoffs and exhibitions against professional clubs. California Victory
The California Victory was a USL First Division professional soccer team based in San Francisco, California. It was an expansion team for the 2007 season, but ceased operation in September of that year after parent club Deportivo Alavés withdrew its support. History On October 12, 2006, USL President Francisco Marcos announced Dmitry Piterman, a Ukrainian American and chairman of Spanish club Deportivo Alavés, had officially acquired a USL First Division franchise beginning in the 2007 season. USL-1
The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010. During its existence, it formed the second tier of soccer in the United States soccer league system behind Major League Soccer. It was operated by United Soccer Leagues (USL) and was known as the A-League, from 1997 until 2004. Several teams left the league in 2009 to form the new North American Soccer League, with the intent of running their own second-tier league. Eric David Reed (born December 7, 1983) is an American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Reed grew up in Laguna Hills, California, and attended Laguna Hills High School, where he was a four-year starter. During this time, he received a handful of United States U-18 caps. After high school, he attended UCLA where he redshirted his freshman year. The following year he appeared in four games and continued his good form earning an additional 16 games in his second year. He was a consistent first team starter over the next two years. While attending college, he competed in the USL Premier Development League with the Southern California Seahorses. Joshua Randolph Hansen (born January 16, 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American-born Puerto Rican international football player. Career College Hansen attended Greenway High School and played four years of college soccer at the University of San Francisco, where he won several honors and his exploits included a hat-trick against Saint Mary's College. Anthony Stovall (born February 21, 1982) is a former professional American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Stovall grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, attended Ridge View High School, and played college soccer at the University of South Carolina. During his college years he also played with both Greenville Lions and the Southern California Seahorses in the USL Premier Development League. Professional Stovall began his professional career in 2005 after the conclusion of 2005 PDL season signing a development contract with Chivas USA.
