Oakleigh House School
Oakleigh House School is a co-educational private primary school in Swansea, Wales. The school is owned and operated by the Cognita Group, and is situated in the Uplands area of the city. History Oakleigh House School was established in 1919. In 1995, it became part of the Ffynone House School Trust, and in 2007 it joined the Cognita Group of Schools. In 2016, the School received the NACE Cymru Challenge Award. Facilities Facilities in Oakleigh House include a hall, outdoor areas, a nursery, ICT rooms and on site catering. Pupils follow a defined curriculum which incorporates key elements of the Foundation Phase but is not bound by it. Uplands, Swansea
Uplands ( cy, Pantygwydr) is a suburb and community of Swansea, Wales. It lies about a mile (2 km) to the west of Swansea city centre, and falls within the Uplands electoral ward. It is centred on the A4118 road, which links Swansea city centre and Sketty. The main road begins as Walter Road from the east, and becomes Sketty Road towards the west. Much of the area is hilly. The population of the community and ward in 2011 was 15,665 and in terms of Welsh identity had the lowest percentage in the county. The Wales National Pool ( cy, Pwll Cenedlaethol Cymru) is a 50-metre swimming pool in the Sketty area of Swansea, Wales. The main pool is 50 m long and 21 m wide, so it does not meet the FINA definition of an Olympic size pool. Michael Ray Dibdin Heseltine, Baron Heseltine, (; born 21 March 1933) is a British politician and businessman. Having begun his career as a property developer, he became one of the founders of the publishing house Haymarket. Alun Wyn Jones (born 19 September 1985) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who plays as a lock for the Ospreys and the Wales national team. He is the world's most-capped rugby union player.
