OHL Classic At Mayakoba
The World Wide Technology Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in Mexico, contested at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal golf course within the Diamante Cabo San Lucas resort. It debuted in February 2007 and was the first PGA Tour event to take place in Mexico. The first 16 years of the tournament took place in Riviera Maya before the tournament was moved to Los Cabos in 2023. History Originally an alternate event in late winter, the tournament was played the same week as the WGC Match Play event in Arizona. Mayakoba was part of the FedEx Cup, but only earned half the points of a regular event. The prize fund in 2007 was US$3.5 million (with a winner's share of $630,000), making it the richest golf tournament in Mexico. Art Wall Jr
Arthur Jonathan Wall Jr. (November 25, 1923 – October 31, 2001) was an American professional golfer, best known for winning the Masters Tournament in 1959. Early life Wall was born and raised in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. He and his younger brother "Dewey" caddied for their parents, starting around age ten, and began playing shortly after. The brothers served in the military during World War II. Art served in the United States Army Air Forces, Army Air Forces and Dewey in the United States Navy, Navy. Dewey was killed at the age of 20 in October 1944 when his submarine USS Shark (SS-314), USS ''Shark'' was sunk in the Pacific Ocean near Taiwan. LIV Golf () is a professional golf tour financed by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. The name "LIV" refers to the Roman numerals for 54, the score if every hole on a par-72 course were birdied and the number of holes to be played at LIV events. The first LIV Golf Invitational Series event started on 9 June 2022, at the Centurion Club near London, England. The Invitational Series is to become the LIV Golf League in 2023. 2023 LIV Golf League
The 2023 LIV Golf League is the second season of LIV Golf following the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. The season consists of fourteen 54-hole tournaments, featuring 48 players and no cut, and a team championship event at the season end. Twelve teams and forty-eight individuals are competing for a total of $405 million in prize purses. Broadcasting In the United States, The CW will broadcast and stream the tournaments under a multi-year deal with the organization signed in January 2023. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States.
