''Over the Hill'' is an Australian television drama which first screened on the Seven Network in 1994. Over the Hill was produced by Gary Reilly, written by John Flanagan and directed by Tony Osicka and Leigh Spence. It was not renewed after its first season of 13 episodes. Synopsis ''Over the Hill'' follows the story of a couple who realise the great Australian dream of buying a pub in the country. The Seven Network (commonly known as Channel Seven or simply Seven) is a major Australian commercial free-to-air Television broadcasting in Australia, television network. It is owned by Seven West Media, Seven West Media Limited, and is one of five main free-to-air television networks in Australia. The network's headquarters are located in Sydney. As of 2014, it is the second-largest network in the country in terms of population reach. Roy Harwood Billing (born 1947) is a New Zealand television actor, now based on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. He was brought up in Ruawai, Northland, New Zealand. Billing spent almost three decades living and working in Australia. He became widely known for his role as organised-crime boss “Aussie Bob” Trimbole in the TV series Underbelly.
