Stein Ove Berg (22 December 1948 – 17 June 2002) was a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Berg hailed from Kløfta. He had a musical breakthrough with the song "Manda morra blues" in 1973, and his song "Kommer nå" from 1974 was well received. He was awarded Spellemannprisen for the 1975 album ''Visa di''. His song books include ''Hestehov og brun beis'' from 1973, ''Albumblad'' from 1975, and ''58 viser'' from 1979. Legacy When Berg died in Oslo in June 2002, leader of the Labour Party, Jens Stoltenberg, wrote an obituary in ''Aftenposten''. Ove Fundin
Ove Fundin (born 23 May 1933) is a Swedish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1951 to 1970. Fundin is notable for winning the Speedway World Championship Final five times (1956, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1967), a record bettered only by Ivan Mauger and fellow Swede Tony Rickardsson who each won six World Championships. He finished runner-up in the championship 3 times (1957–59) and was third in 1962, 1964 and 1965 meaning that from his first win in 1956 until his last in 1967, Fundin did not finish lower than a podium place in a record eleven World Finals. He was known by the nickname of the "Flying Fox" or just "the Fox" because of his red hair. In 2013, Fundin was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements. Sten Ove Eike (born 8 October 1981) is a former Norwegian football forward, who played for Haugesund most of his career. Career Eike was born in Skudenes, and played for the local club Skudenes UIL before he joined Haugesund in 2004. Eike suffered from a heart attack after a match against Stavanger on 27 September 2009, but he made his comeback in the 2011 Tippeligaen. He played 124 matches and scored 20 goals for Haugesund. On 15 August 2011, Eike signed a half-year contract with the 1. divisjon club Sandefjord. Ove Dalsheim (born 12 May 1944) is a Norwegian trade unionist and politician. He started his career in the Norwegian State Railways in 1961, and held his first post in the Norwegian Union of Railway Workers in 1967. In October 1992 he succeeded Leif Thue as the union leader. He had already been a board member of the Norwegian State Railways, representing the railway employees together with Leif Thue. He worked as a yard controller by the time he became union leader. He withdrew in 2004, being succeeded by Kjell Atle Brunborg. He was also a member of the Labour Party, and served four terms in Trondheim city council. Ove Christian Dahl (29 January 186217 September 1940) was a Norwegian botanist. He was born in Orkdal. He graduated in philology from the University of Kristiania in 1886, and then worked as a teacher. His interests eventually turned towards botany, and he was appointed at the Botanical Museum in Kristiania from 1893 to 1922, the first years as assistant to professor Axel Blytt Axel Gudbrand Blytt (19 May 1843 – 18 July 1898) was a Norwegian professor, botanist and geologist. Ove Christensen (born 26 March 1950) is a Danish football manager who is currently the director of football of Danish fourth tier club Silkeborg KFUM. He has managed a number of Danish Superliga clubs, and won the Danish women's championship with Fortuna Hjørring. Coaching career Christensen started his career coaching lower-league clubs, beginning with Brønderslev IF in 1982. He managed Vrå IF, before moving to the women's topflight Elitedivisionen team Fortuna Hjørring in 1985, staying there for three years. He spent four years with men's team Nørresundby Boldklub, guiding the club to the second-tier Danish 1st Division in 1991, with players such as later Danish champions Henrik Rasmussen and Jan Pedersen.
