Miguel Steward, better known as Miguel Migs, is an American deep house DJ and producer and founder of Salted Music, an independent electronic dance music record label based in San Francisco, California. Sonny J, short for Sonnington James III, is an English electronic musician from Liverpool, currently living in Kent. His debut single, "Can't Stop Moving", was brought out by Stateside Records in 2007. The track has been used frequently as background music on the ''X Factor'' and ''Britain's Got Talent''. His second and third singles, "Enfant Terrible" and "Handsfree (If You Hold My Hand)" featuring Donna Hightower, were released on 9 June 2008, followed by his debut album '' Disastro'' the week after, on 16 June. Sonny J was propelled into the mainstream music scene when a fan published a viral video, featuring The Jackson 5, on several well-known websites, before a demo version of "Can't Stop Moving" was played on BBC Radio 1. Isabel Buarque de Hollanda Gilberto de Oliveira (born May 12, 1966), known as Bebel Gilberto, is an American-born Brazilian popular singer often associated with bossa nova. She is the daughter of João Gilberto and singer Miúcha. Her uncle is singer/composer Chico Buarque. Early life Gilberto was born in New York City to Brazilian parents, bossa nova pioneer João Gilberto and singer Miúcha, who were briefly living in the city at the time of her birth. She often traveled with her father when he recorded albums in different countries; she lived in Mexico at age three and moved to Rio de Janeiro at age five. Gilberto's parents separated when she was seven, and she spent her time between Rio de Janeiro with her mother and New York with her father. Michelle Lynn Johnson, better known as Meshell Ndegeocello (; born August 29, 1968), is a German-born American singer-songwriter, rapper, and bassist. She has gone by the name Meshell Suhaila Bashir-Shakur which is used as a writing credit on some of her later work. Freddie McGregor (born 27 June 1956, in Clarendon, Jamaica) is a Jamaican singer, musician and record producer. His music career began when he was seven years old. Biography In 1963 he joined with Ernest Wilson and Peter Austin to form The Clarendonians, and began to record for the Studio One label. He was only seven years old at the time and was known as 'Little Freddie'. He was also a member of the Generation Gap. McGregor converted to Rastafari in 1975. He is a member of the Twelve Tribes organisation. McGregor worked with producer Niney the Observer during the late 1970s and early 1980s, and in the same period was part of the resurgence of Studio One.
