The Danish Speedway League ( da, Dansk Speedway Liga) or Danish Super League or Metal League as it is called today is the top division of motorcycle speedway in Denmark. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to . Nicholas Craig Morris (born 7 June 1994) is an Australian speedway rider. Career Born in Canberra, Morris was successful as a youngster in youth racing in Australia before making the move into British racing in 2010 with Buxton Hitmen in the National League, the team going on to be crowned champions. Tim Sørensen (born 14 May 2000) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Speedway career Sørensen came to prominence during the 2020 season when he was part of the Danish team that won the silver medal at the 2020 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. The following year he was once again selected by Denmark for the event and won the silver medal again at the 2021 Team Speedway Junior World Championship.
