Speedway career In 2021, Rew helped Australia qualify for the final of the 2021 Speedway of Nations (the World team Championships of speedway). In 2022, he helped Wilki Krosno win the 2022 1.Liga. He won the 2022 Australian Under-21 Individual Speedway Championship. Ipswich Witches
The Ipswich Witches are a British speedway club based at Foxhall Stadium near Ipswich, Suffolk. They compete in the British SGB Premiership. Meetings are staged on most Thursdays from March until October, normally commencing at 7.30pm (first race 7.45pm). The Witches are currently promoted by former Ipswich riders Chris Louis and Ritchie Hawkins. Chris Louis is the son of former rider and promoter John Louis History Early history Foxhall Stadium was purpose-built for speedway in 1950, and meetings were held there from 1951 to 1965 when the track was resurfaced for stock car racing. Attendances approached 20,000 and made stars of riders such as Syd Clarke, Junior Bainbridge, Tich Read and Peter Moore. Kolejarz Rawicz (Railwayman Rawicz) is a motorcycle speedway team based in Rawicz, Poland. They currently race in the Polish Speedway Second League (2. Liga). History The club competed in the inaugural 1948 Polish speedway season, under the name of Motoklub Rawicz. The club's first team honour was winning the bronze medal in the Team Speedway Polish Championship in 1954 and the following season they went one better after winning the silver medal in 1955. Their leading rider Florian Kapała won the Polish Individual Speedway Championship in 1953 and 1956. The club was disbanded after the 1959 season and was not reformed until 1996. The club later won the Polish Speedway Second League three times in 2000, 2007 and 2012. In 2008, the club renamed their stadium to the Florian Kapała Stadium, named after a former rider Florian Kapała. The stadium has a capacity of 7,000 and the speedway track is 330 metres long. Wilki Krosno (''Wolves Krosno'') is a Polish motorcycle speedway team based in Krosno. The club operates under the name of ''Cellfast Wilki Krosno''. The team currently competes in the Ekstraliga (the highest division). Australian Under-21 Individual Speedway Championship
The Australian Under-21 Speedway Championship is a motorcycle speedway championship held each year since 1986, with the exception of 1994 and 1995, to determine the Australian Under-21 national champion. The event is organised by Motorcycling Australia (MA). The event was run as the Australian Under-18 Championship in 1986. This lasted just one year and was changed to the Under-21 Championship in 1987 to bring it in line with the Individual Speedway Junior World Championship which is also for Under-21s. The inaugural Under-21 Championship in 1987 was held at the Undera Park Speedway in Victoria. Queensland riders scored a trifecta. The championship was won by Gary Allan from brothers Steve and Tony Langdon. Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to . 2021 Speedway Of Nations
The 2021 Speedway of Nations (sponsored by Monster Energy) was the fourth FIM Speedway of Nations. The competition consisted of two semi-finals and a final. The final was held on 16 & 17 October 2021 and was won by Great Britain, with Poland taking silver and Denmark bronze. During the final Poland took a first leg lead of ten points ahead of Great Britain. Britain's multiple world champion Tai Woffinden suffered an injury after crashing heavily and was replaced by Dan Bewley for the second leg. Denmark topped the points table during the second leg but Poland earned an automatic place in the grand final after finishing with the highest total from the two legs. This meant that Denmark and Great Britain would take part in the eliminator as the second and third best teams, which Britain won by 6 points to 3. In the grand final, former world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik came out on top but he was followed home by Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley, giving Britain the title by 5 points to 4. ... The 2022 Polish Speedway season was the 2002 season of speedway in Poland. Lublin won the Ekstraliga and were awarded the gold medal and declared Polish Team Champions. The 2023 Sports Insure SGB Premiership is the 88th season of the top tier of British speedway and the 6th known as the SGB Premiership. There was an increase of one team after the Leicester Lions opted to move up from the SGB Championship. 2023 summary Seven clubs will compete for the league championship, with Leicester Lions joining the from the division below. Each club will race against each other four times (home and away twice), meaning a total of 24 fixtures each. The 'Super Heat' scoring system was retained from the 2022 season, however extra points for away fixtures have been scrapped in favour of an aggregate bonus point. The top four teams in the league will qualify for the playoffs, with the two semi-final winners then reaching the Grand Final.
